Florida Shoplifting Suspect Leaves Baby Behind

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. -- A Florida shoplifting suspect is still at large. But police say he left several clues behind -- including his baby daughter.
Security cameras in a store in Bonita Springs caught images of a man stealing a DVD player, and the suspect was stopped. But he bolted, leaving behind a baby girl. He also left a baby bag, which contained enough information to track down the mother.
In the meantime, store employees fed and changed the infant.
Deputies said the father will be charged with felony child neglect in addition to the shoplifting violation.
